- Investment protection-The NS Series supports on-line, non-disruptive upgrade from single to dual blade
configurations as well as an upgrade path from NS80 integrated to NS80G gateway. The NS20 and NS40 support optional
fibre channel host access.
- Mix Drives - The NS can mix Fibre Channel and Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) drives within the same system
and also fibre channel and iSCSI.
